Rick has arrived

Rick has arrived safely in Iraq. He is getting settled in to his housing and getting oriented to work and the base. Rob is returning next week after a wonderful Christmas R & R. We will miss them both!!!

Rick left for Iraq today, he is on the late afternoon flight. We gathered as a family at Stacey's house and spent time together playing games and eating good food. We will miss him on Christmas, but he was able to have a feeling of the Christmas spirit before he left. We expect to hear from him in the next 3-4 days and we will update when he arrives. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Page Kids

This past weekend we spent some time on the land in Nac-a-no-where(Nacogadoches). We had a blast!! The kids discovered that they could go off and have some fun using their imagination. I got them some rubber boots and they played in a small creek bed most of the afternoon. We ended the trip with a hay ride pulled by the 4-wheeler. I think that was alittle more bumpy than what we thought it was going to be. Needless to say I think this a trip they will remember.

Jewlery Show!

This is the first post on our new Dove family blog, Dove Tales! We wanted to have a way to keep everyone update on the happenings in the crazy Dove family!

All the snow from yesterday has melted and we are sitting in a toasty house , with all the dogs curled up in front of the fire, watching Stacey make some jewlery. This is her latest hobby, I will say she is pretty good at it :) She is making bracelets for Maya and Lauren and some little binky holders for baby Riley. I swear this baby will have more stuff than I do by the time she is here.

We are posting a few pictures of the snow and of Stacey making her Jewelry! I hope to hear from everyone soon!
